ERASMUS+ MediTec project
The MediTec project promotes and modernises medical education in Jordan, Iraq, and Iran by developing innovative training centres equipped with an Immersive Medical Learning Platform and realistic simulation models to improve students' practical and soft skills. Another goal: Establishment of a unique medical training facility using the Immersive Medical Learning Platform to train professors and students in cutting-edge medical technology.
Training of trainers, staff and students on innovative technologies at EU universities
Adaptation of training to innovative technology in the teaching process
Improvement of training method complexes based on modernized training
Development and delivery, training program, multimedia and materials for training on innovative technologies
Training of students in the EU and in the Centre
Development of practical courses specific to this new learning environment.
Strengthening the quality of doctoral students through visits and cooperation with the EU
The MediTec Network
The MediTec Network aims to open a wide range of opportunities to facilitate exchange of good practices between the members through the MediTec portal and twinning procedures in order to promote transfer of knowledge between its members, to encourage the submission of common proposals and development of projects between the members of the network, and to assist in the establishment of MediTec best practices.
The MediTec Network members obtain numerous benefits to grow, share, learn, and modernize: the chance to exchange best practices between the members through the MediTec portal and to promote transfer of knowledge among the members, to access a transnational forum of discussion in Higher Education, to participate in common actions between the members of the MediTec Network, such as: seminars, submission of proposals and development of projects, submission of publications in scientific journals and scientific conferences, and to participate in training workshops to be held under the theme of using advanced technology in Higher Education.

At the University of Duhok the dissemination action on MediTec project covered everything from attending conferences, seminars and roundtables to talk the project to writing scientific papers about the project results to establishing and maintaining the project website as well as announcement stands and posters.
