The Directorate of International Relations (DOIR) act in line with the University of Duhok strategic objectives concerning:

• International Research collaboration

• Academic staff and students exchange and mobility

• Fundraising

• Cultural exchanges

• Information and Knowledge sharing

• Facilitating and hosting academic activities

• Staff development programs

The International Relations office has the responsibility for the Strategic direction and development of the international academic Cooperation and exchange programs, including supervision of programs and budget, together with promotion strategy, and administration.

DOIR increases its international visibility hosting academic visitors signing Memorandum of Understanding MOU for Cultural exchanges, knowledge transforming, facilitating scholarly visits and staff development, students exchange program etc. The University of Duhok has more than 100 MOUs with different reputable universities globally.
